Artifacts

Some items in a game are special. These Artifacts may imbue special powers or privileges, or they just may be more powerful than any Player could be on their own. What makes these items different from Consumables is that each item is unique.

The Artifacts in our system are fully functional ERC-721 non-fungible tokens and can be transferred to other Players.

Non-fungible tokens act more like real-world objects. In fact, they can even represent real-world objects like real estate or gold bars. Many times they will represent in-game items, such as a piece of property that can be owned by players.

Our Artifacts can automatically provide Consumables for use when acquiring a Skill Level or executing an Activity, which means that they have an intrinsic value in addition to their perceived value.
